Discussions on Science and Diversity - Manu O. Platt

Date and Time

This seminar may serve as a make-up class for students in ENGR 230. Students will also need to complete a one page summary.

Please find a link below to the first video in the "Discussions on Science and Diversity” video series, featuring Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Anjelica Gonzalez, in casual conversations with scientific leaders that the Department of Biomedical Engineering, the School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences is sponsoring here, both for the Yale community and beyond.

In this series, Professor Anjelica Gonzalez leads thoughtful, casual conversations with leaders from academia or industry highlighting personal stories and experiences by those who represent and/or promote diversity and inclusion within Biomedical Engineering.

In this first segment, Professor Gonzalez interviews Professor Manu Platt from Georgia Tech. We invite our faculty, students, and staff to these conversations and I hope that you will share this link with the same at your institution. I hope, too, that they are impressed and inspired as was I.
