The Honorable France A. Córdova, an astrophysicist and the 14th director of the National Science Foundation (NSF), visited UC Santa Barbara on October 31, 2019.
After her presentation "Thinking Big: NSF’s Vision for Research Investment", Dr. Córdova met one of her fans, CBE faculty member "Doc Plaxco". Doc Plaxco was so thrilled to meet Dr. Córdova and he had the occasion with documented with his iPhone.
