Acquiring and Maintaining Naïve Human Pluripotency
ABSTRACT: Stem cells are critical tools for basic scientists and a starting point for regenerative medicine.  Therefore understanding the fundamental mechanisms required for stem cell self-renewal are critical for future research and clinical applications.  In this seminar, I will discuss our latest research using genomics, CRISPR/Cas9 and human pre-implantation embryos consented to research to uncover novel mechanisms that enable naïve human pluripotent stem cells self-renewal.
